Mr. Hemantha Gamage is the visionary leader behind Galle City Center (GCC) and the driving force of the “Hemara” brand. With a foundation in construction and a wealth of experience gained from years of hands-on work and extensive travels, Mr. Gamage has successfully transformed his father’s modest textile business into a multi-faceted retail empire. Under his leadership, GCC has risen as an iconic development in Galle, blending modern commercial spaces with luxurious hospitality. Mrs. Anusha Gamage
Co-owner & Director
Mrs. Anusha Gamage is the co-owner and director of GCC, as well as a key partner in the “Hemara” business ventures. Her sharp business insight and meticulous attention to detail have been pivotal in the success and expansion of the “Hemara” brand. Mrs. Gamage’s role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic decisions of the business has been instrumental in its growth. Her commitment to excellence is evident in every facet of GCC and the businesses under the “Hemara” umbrella, ensuring that each endeavor reflects the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Mr. Rajitha Gamage
Coordinating Director
Mr. Rajitha Gamage, the elder son of Mr. Hemantha and Mrs. Anusha Gamage, is the Coordinating Director of GCC. Holding a Master’s degree in Strategic Management and Economics from the UK, Rajitha brings a modern and strategic perspective to the family business. His role in GCC involves overseeing the coordination of the project management team, ensuring that the development meets the highest standards. Rajitha also manages New Ragee Fashion, a stylish fashion boutique under the “Hemara” brand, where his leadership and innovative approach continue to drive the business forward.
